* (Not)Back-to-School Picnic: Bring the family and a covered dish and a drink or dessert to share and gather at Louisville Point Park for an evening of good old-fashioned fun and fellowship on Friday evening, September 10th, from 6 p.m. to sunset. This will be a great opportunity for students and parents alike to meet others from their classes, which start the following Monday. We'll have sack races, tug-0-war, and lots of great conversation! P.S. Be sure to bring a folding chair for your family. Any questions? Contact Laurie Leslie at info@bhea.net or 977-1957.

* BHEA SWIM PRACTICE
Swimmer Program: Email me at ks_harr@bellsouth.net and then send at least a $40 (per swimmer) deposit made out to BHEA to my home address (135 Miller Avenue, Maryville, TN 37803). If you can pay the entire $80 per swimmer amount that would be fantastic, otherwise you can pay the balance on the first swim morning (Wednesday, September 8th).

Lesson Program: This is for children no younger than 4 years of age. The cost is $50 for twelve 30 minute sessions. There are still a few spots left for the 2nd 6 weeks of this program. This program will be each M/W for 6 weeks during the 2nd half of the swim practice time (8:15 - 8:45 a.m.) and will be instructed by Maggie Higdon. To reserve a spot email me at ks_harr@bellsouth.net.

Practice Dates: Begin - Wednesday, September 8th - We will have a parent mtg at the beginning of this session and NOT on August 18th as previously mentioned. Off - Monday, October 11th; Wednesday, November 24th; Finish - Monday, December 6th

Sharing comical adventures with dozens of other characters, he leaves his mischievous mark on life, or 'so the story goes'. Drawing inspiration from West African music, masks, costumes, and oral traditions, this production brings to the stage their vibrant scenic splendor and magic."

ODDS AND ENDS

* The BHEA Calendar is for everyone! All members can access this by going to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BHEA/cal (You will first need to subscribe to the yahoogroups list by going to BHEA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com). The calendar is updated frequently. You can also print this out if you'd prefer.

* If you would like to join our "chatty" yahoo group, please send an email to BHEA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. This is the place where you can post questions about anything from curriculum to dishwasher repair, items to sell or buy, prayer requests, etc. Any member may join the group. This is a great place of new families to "meet" others, find out about activities, etc.

* The BHEA Business Directory can be found at http://www.bhea.net/Business_Directory_2009_10.pdf
