Enrichment Program

Q:

What is the difference between BHEA's Family Membership fee and the Family Enrichment Program Registration fee?  

A:

Family Membership fees cover your family's membership with BHEA for the entire year, from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025. The fee is just $30 per family, not per person. To keep this price low, we do not prorate the fee based on when you join or renew, and it is non-refundable. No matter when you join during the academic year, your membership will be valid until May 31, 2025.

Family Enrichment Program Registration fees cover the use of our host facility and miscellaneous costs directly associated with running the Enrichment program. Since participation in this program is optional, only members who choose to participate need to pay this fee. The fee is $50 per family for the entire academic year, whether you take part in one semester or both. This fee is refundable up to the second day of sessions, but we do not prorate it.

Q:

Do I need to pay the $50 Enrichment Program Registration fee for each child?

A:

No, you don't! Both the BHEA Membership fee and the Enrichment Program Registration fee are per family, regardless of the number of children you register. This makes it easy and affordable for all your children to participate in our programs.

Q:

Are there any other fees involved with participating in the Enrichment Program?

A:

Yes, there are. You will pay each instructor directly for each session your child takes. Each instructor sets their own session fee and may require additional costs for curriculum, books, or other expenses (such as field trips). All of this information will be detailed in the session description. Simply click on the name of the session to see the full details.

How do I pay?  

A:

You can use the PayPal button on the Membership Request or Membership Renewal pages to pay the Family Membership Fee of $30. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can log in as a guest and check out with a credit or debit card.

You will be prompted to pay the Family Enrichment Program Registration Fee of $50 at the end of the Enrichment Program Registration Form. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can log in as a guest and check out with a credit or debit card.

Payment for individual sessions will be made directly to the instructors according to their instructions. Please refer to the session descriptions for more details.

Q:

What if my child has food allergies? 

A:

If your child has food allergies, it's important to communicate with their instructor/s about any potential risks in their session. Our Enrichment sessions take place at a church where various classes are held throughout the week, including Sundays. This means there's a possibility your child could be exposed to allergens from previous classes held in the same room.

For your child's safety, please ensure their profile includes any allergies so that the teacher can see them on the session roster. Ultimately, you are responsible for your child's safety, so please don't hesitate to discuss any concerns with the instructor. Your child's well-being is our top priority, and we want to make sure they have a safe and enjoyable experience in our program. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to us.

Is the host church handicap accessible?

A:

Most areas of our current host church are indeed accessible. Additionally, we can make adjustments in room assignments to accommodate special needs if we know about them in advance. We are here to help your family in any way we can, and we strive to make our program accessible and inclusive for everyone.
