Nicole Shields To All Instructors

I graduated from Lincoln Christian University with a BA in Cross-Cultural Missions (1998). My husband, Corey, and I served as missionaries in Japan for 10 years (2004-2014), and we continue to do outreach ministry to International people; with an emphasis on the Japanese population in our area. We have three children. Skyler graduated from BHEA in 2019. Tomo is 16 and Maya is 13. We’ve been homeschooling for 18 years. We joined BHEA when we moved here for ministry in 2015. Last year, I had the privilege to teach Elementary Japanese at Maryville College, but I wanted to refocus my time and energy on my own children’s education. We attend First Christian Church where my husband is the Youth Minister. I love taking walks daily, reading good historical fiction, and playing viola in the MC Orchestra.
