Homeschooling High School
Let's face it. The idea of homeschooling high schoolers can be intimidating. Many people feel they cannot continue to homeschool once their children arrive at this level, out of fear of diminishing college aspirations. We here at BHEA want you to know that you can do it! BHEA families have produced many success stories. A support group like ours is a key to success.
Through homeschooling within the BHEA community, your child will have access to many opportunities that are often thought to only be available to traditionally schooled students:
- Your blossoming journalist can apply to represent BHEA in the monthly The Daily Times- School Times. The application process begins around the first of August each year. Email [email protected] for more information.
- Members of the BHEA Student Council, play a vital role in planning, organizing, and implementing events for high school students. This is a fantastic way to develop leadership skills, contribute to your community, and make a difference in the lives of your peers. Members will be notified when the application period opens.
