Enrichment Team Members
These wonderful ladies are who we have to thank for making the enrichment program happen. They take time away from their own families and homeschools to make sure all BHEA members can experience fun, safe and educational co-op sessions. Please be sure to take time to say thank you when you see them. If you have questions for the elementary or high school enrichment teams, please send an email to [email protected].

I am a Maryville native born at Blount Memorial Hospital. My husband Mike and I have been married for 19 years and we have two children. Mason is 16 years old and Oliver is 13, and we have been homeschooling for 5 years now. I have BA degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in Economics with a minor in Business Administration and a concentration in Logistics and Transportation. Being a mom has taken most of my time, so a career has not been part of my story. I enjoy being outside and love working with plants and landscaping. Our family is very active in hiking, kayaking, and other scouting activities. My husband is an Assistant Scout Master for our BHEA Troop 442. I help with the troop accounting, and I'm also a troop committee member so we are very involved with the scout troop.
Jennifer has been a member of BHEA since 2015. She and her husband live in Maryville and have five children, ages 23, 22, 10, 6, and 4. The youngest three children have been homeschooled since Kindergarten. Before becoming a homeschool mom, Jennifer attended ETSU where she majored in computer science. When not homeschooling or reading to her kids, she enjoys sewing, playing the piano, gardening, hiking, and camping.
